DOMAIN REGISTRATION genuine INFORMATION

    hello guys i am buying a domain name from name.com.........should i register with correct address details?? is it safe??.....i dnt want to be in any kinda mess if by mistake i put some illegal stuff on my website..........i have seen tons of website with adult stuff, pornography, illegal software with keygens do they provide their genuine address details ...............the answer is very imp to me coz m very new to this...nw your comments please

    what kind of mistake would that be?

    no one puts porn/illegal stuff on a website "by mistake".

    if you are going to put legal things on your site, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't provide genuine details.

    if you don't want to make the information public, you can always use a private domain.
