Domain registration at $3: Are they reliable?

Active-domain.com offers domain registration for a year at $3. Are they reliable? Why so low cost? Has anybody registered any domain with them? Hows there service?

I registered my very first domain with them. But, they took 2 days to process my order.

for .info I think godaddy offer best price & other facilities.

 

i use registerdonkey. They have .info for 1.99 and .com for 7.49. better then godaddy.

 

Buddy, there are many scams in this field. Be careful in domain name registration. Trust just only named companies.

 

godaddy is still cheaper than them. Godaddy offers $0.99 for .info domain.

 

i dont think they are reliable but you can give a try.

 

do not register .info .. i doubt the value of the .info. is not worth $3.

 

Just now registered a .info domain for .99$ at Godaddy

Godaddy and Namecheap are best Domain registars and they provide good discounts time to time
Just 2 months back godaddy had a offer of 0.99$ .com domains for 1year
Even namecheap keeps up coming with discounts

Last good discounts were in Nov-Dec then in Feb , so wait for sometime and keep googling for godaddy and name cheap discounts you will get good deals

 

i don't think you could get .com or .net for $3...better use godaddy if you want to buy cheap .info domain..

godaddy is the best

 

.info domain is cheap but when you want to renew it you pay the normal price..

 

I have my doubts on using a not so known Domain Registrars' service.. and if these is a Registry Promo due to which .info is so cheap.. all the other Registrars will also have the same Promo.

Plus, I dont think these guys are Domain Registrars as per : http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/accredited-list.html

 

Their price is expensive compare to well known domain registrar.
And they also charge for private whois while name.com provide it free.
So,you better go for reputate company to prevent future problem arise.
