Domain Registerations

    I recently just bought a domain with private registeration and Business Registeration.

    I tried to edit the Admistrative, Billing, Techicial contacts section and it says.

    "The domain contacts cannot be updated because the domain is private"

    Anyone know why?

    First you must disable/turn off private registration in your control panel.

    O ok i see. The thing i find is that when you use private registeration ppl automatically think its a scam.

    Well, it depends. If you are hosting private personal websites, it is okay to have whois privacy but if you are selling something be it a product or service then it would be best to have your information public. Because like you said, if you use private registration for a business website, people will deem that you have something to hide and it is not good for business. In business since people may not know you, everything is a matter of trust on the part of the both parties.
