Domain Redirects causing me penalties?

    Hi,

Our main website URL is www[dot]myprotein[dot].co.uk. We have various other domains that re-direct to this domain. For example:

    myprotien[dot]co.uk
    creapure[dot]co.uk
    proteinstore[dot]co.uk

For some reason when we search for "myprotein" now the re-direct appears and not the main site? Will google penalize for this or is it OK?

I have just checked on the bigdaddy servers and it seems the sames SERPS is occuring there as well. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

if the redirects are new, it may take some time before the "old" domains get out of index and your new site gets all the rank/results etc.

Is it 301 redirect or plain HTML/JS redirect? Use 301 redirects.

The re-directs are basically just "web forwarding" which is set by the company I registered the domans i.e. 123-reg.co.uk and godaddy.com.

Is there a way I can check what type of redirects they use?

If you do a search for "myprotein" in google our re-direct domain comes up first? which is "myprotein" spelt wrong?! (myprotien).

Try it yourself.. Very odd. Any ideas?!

    Thanks :)
