Domain redirecting - bad for seo ?

So I am considering to buy ~10 domains which have the same thematic and are written almost the same, is it better to redirect other 9 to my main domain, or just write something like " If you are looking for domain.com, then press here " ?
And another one - if i will use GoDaddy bulk to buy those 10 domains, will i still be able to add coupons ?

Exactly, why do you want to do this, that is, have 10 domains, are you buying the different extensions of the same domain then i can understand, otherwise it is a waste of time

The main reason is if someone makes a grammar mistake when writing my domain name, they would still land on my page, so what would be the better redirect, or link ?

Direct them to the main domain, Creating one page sites for each domain to link them in might be considered link farming = penalty.

Good Idea, Domainers gobble up mis spellings all the time. take a look at wwwcaptures.com

Search engines typically do not like redirects. Why don't you just have the alternate domain point to the main page's DNS servers.

Domain redirecting its not completely bad for SEO. if u have bought some new domain & use that in place of existing domain by deleting bt in this best to use redirecting all those KW base domain which u have bought from Godaddy with exisiting one. Its called typing traffic. U jst bought so many most popular yr business related KW rich domain so redirect with existing one. its nt a bad seo activities.

Hi, I have a similiar question:
An older higher ranked website has to be redirected to a brandnew lower ranked website.
Is it better to do it with a DNS or a 301 redirection?
How is bad for SEO a redirection from a higher ranked website to a lower one?
    thank you all!

Re directions are using only not to lose our visitors, page rank and alexa rank. with in 1 month we can get the same alexa for a new url with the help of old url by redirect process.

    Tahnk you Yasil!
You mean I should have no problems with it?
Better with 301 or with DNS?
Sorry if I ask too much :)
