Domain purchase problem

    I want to purchase a domain name and the seller has also agreed but the domain is at Yahoo and as far as I know they don't have free pushes and transfer out facility. The seller doesn't want to give me his yahoo account either. What can be done in this situation? Thanks

    just transfer the domain will take 5 days, tell the provider to accept the domain transfer request. not sure if you have any 2nd option in this case

    Thats the problem, I don't think Yahoo allows you to transfer to another registrar.

    Yes, you can transfer to another registrar but you can't push to another yahoo account. The seller must unlock his domain (if its locked) and get the Auth code. You then initiate a transfer from your registrar's control panel.

    Ok, I have never had any domain at Yahoo and the buyer doesn't know how he can unlock the domain and get the EPP or authorization code. Can anyone help to locate it in Yahoo domain CP?
