I'm going to buy a new domain for my site but I don't know how can I be sure that my old domain will be directed in my new domain.

Can anyone help on how can I do this?

you will buy a new domain and you want your old one to redirect to it ? If this is your question then the answer is..

1- make sure that the old domain points the same nameservers of your new domain.

2- From you cPanel (hosting cPanel) of your new domain go to "Parked Domains" . from this option just add your old domain and click " add domain".

by this way any visits for your old domain will go to the new domain.

please make sure that your hosting provider allow you to park domains, you can contact your hosting support regarding this issue

hope that I answered you :)

this will do nothing if there is no hosting account for this domain on the server whose nameservers used!!
