hello my title may be wrong ... okay say i have a link to 192.1.1.100 and i want to go to 192.1.1.100:9440 and have a domain say www.google.com:9440 but if users dont know the port its nulled i want to make apache or a co-mod plugin or another program to where i can type in a new www.google.com and connect to the same place with it having the 9440 port already there not 80 or whatever i need for this application ... what am i trying to do .. making a teamspeak server i bought use a current domain and dns with the defualt port to a new port domain taliky.game-server.cc to 216.86.152.226:9440 not taliky.game-server.cc:9440 is this possible?
DNS is just to resolve a name to an address. There isn't a provision in DNS for any port-specific services, aside from the MX record which is for mail.
