I changed my website from one host last friday, i have only just noticed that some of the users that go to the site are still being sent to my old server.

ive noticed this more on IE rather than firefox since its been the new serve every time i have looked at the site through that browser.

Ive had reports from loads of my users that they are also having these issues.

does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this, i cant see why its still ounting at the server since i have the dns settings set for the new one. thanks

Sounds like you may have some errors in your DNS set up, and some ISP's do not like errors. Check your site here:

www.fairytailepisode.com - Ive looked up on the info for it and i cant see any reason of why it should still point to the old domain. thanks i appreciate any help :)

You could end up on my old server (says fairy tail episode 50 in the tab + has images/ pols on side bar) or my newer server (says fairy tail episode 52) i just need to it to stick to the one.

Here are some things I see wrong.

The zone has more than one MX record with the highest preference

The Primary mail server ns1.name.com does not respond, nor does ns2.name.com, ns3.name.com, or ns4.name.com

    Can't connect to ns4.name.com

The problem you are describing sounded like it was with http though. I can see that that is responding. Perhaps your changes have not updated everywhere? What was the TTL on the domain set to? You did lower it a week prior to moving right?

If not, I'd say this domain has not fully propagated yet.

You might want to look at some of the other issues mentioned in the future as well.

The TTL is just set to 300 for the domain, also i do have other name servers i could use. ones that the host give me however name.com says that it needs its name servers in in order to work. and since the TTL was only set low i dont see why it would take 6 days to start working, especially since its working instatly for half my users.

The order in which the name servers are listed is purely cosmetic.

This is something needs to be checked in domain setting and server DNS setting, so your best help will be your host, who could help you to check in server
