Domain Pointers

I have an economy GoDaddy hosting plan.

I am thinking of hosting my second website. The thing is that the economy plan does not allow for hosting of multiple domains. What I can do is point domains to subfolders like this:

a.com (main domain) points to the root of my hosting

b.com (second domain) points to /b/index.php

With htaccess you can do this and the visitor will not see any difference in the URL bar.

My question is this: having b.com on the same IP, using htaccess with rewrites to point to a folder at a.com, will that affect SEO of any of the domains?

    Thank you very much guys!

IMO, there will be no difference since the rewriting is being done by the apache server - but I would like to get more confirmation before I follow this path :)

    Thanks for your feedback!
