I've been monitoring a domain name. It has gone thru the Redemption and now, yesterday, it shows as updated and now changed to PendingDelete. Anyone know how long it takes before it becomes dropped and available ? I really need to secure this domain name, I heard of a backordering service such as pool.com and snapnames.com , but is it just me or did they say auction ? I dont want my backorder or the domain name to be public hence opening up option for domain squatters to bid. Is their any backordering service which is not public ? I.E, doesnt list the domain to others etc ?

It should normally be available within 5 days, but if it a domain that others want, you will never get if someone else is using a backorder service like snap or pool. If you really want the domain, I would suggest using both of them. If there is one or more other people using snap or pool, they have a private auction - but if you are the only person using their service for that domain, there isn't a private auction.

    Hi,

Yes, mjewel is right. Use a service, www.whois.sc has one too. Backorder service often costs 2x or 3x a domain registration fee but if it goes to auction they often apply that fee to your bid.

Have you checked the After markets for a listing of this particular domain name?

Check them to see if someone is not bidding his money on that same domain name.
