I have a domain with my name and dot tv. I have seen my name for sale with dot com. Is that legal considering my dot tv is used for business and publicity purpose and any "misdirection" could cost me jobs and money.
What that party's doing with the domain name is currently....currently....legal, unless you can demonstrate trademark rights to your name, show it's infringed on, or if the other party intended to sell the domain to you.
