    I have seen people using outrageuosly priced listings as a way to promote their site. They actually don't want people to bid on it. I'm not sure but maybe that's what's going on there.

    He can't possibly think someone will pay that. Heck, you're lucky to get that for a succesful site these days, let alone a domain name.

    Yeah that combination is so plain and generic as to be worthless. I can't see anyone saying I MUST HAVE THAT domain.

    If you had a really good plan for it it might be worth $100...but that's the case with most websites. There's a guy out there that owns www.adsense.com ...he had it before Google, so he's not squatting. I wonder how much Google has offered him for it?
