    Hi there,

I just bought a domain on netfirms and would like to host it on my godaddy account. What I did was I changed the name server on netfirms to NS1.SECURESERVER.NET and NS2.SECURESERVER.NET and added the domain name on my Godaddy hosting account.

Can anyone let me know what I have done wrong here? I tried to email them but there is no response from them yet.

    Any help would be appreciate.

Thx for your help. BUT the problem is, http://www.mysite.com (I add it as a sub-domain???? I am confused here) is now running properly with no problem using the IP given by Godaddy (The one startign with 64.202.) while http://mysite.com (using name server NS1.SECURESERVER.NET and NS2.SECURESERVER.NET) shows nothing.

Is it normal? Am I doing the right thing here?

and if I canel the "www-subdomain" (http://www.mysite.com), will I still be able to use http://www.mysite.com once the DNS update is done?

Thx for the reply. I really appreciate it.

Yes, I contacted the customer support in Godaddy and they gave me

    Primary DNS Host: ns1.secureserver.net
    Primary DNS IP:

    Primary DNS Host: ns2.secureserver.net
    Primary DNS IP:

That's why I am so confused.
