Domain not working

I have recently acquired a domain a few days ago and I'm starting to have some problems that seems to be only a problem for me. I just bought a domain at namecheap.com and this morning, when I try going to the domain (I have it set to redirect for now), it gives me a page can't be displayed or FireFox can't find the server, but if I go to where it redirects to manually (by typing in the actual domain/directory), it works. I have asked some people to try and use the actual domain I bought and they said it works and redirects just fine. This also happened to me last night on a seperate site that I don't know (my friend was showing me a website she could access, but I got a page can't be displayed error). I was also able to access my domain through a proxy website. Anyone know what might be wrong and why I can't access it myself.

The domain is stopfornews.com (work in progress) and the registrar is namecheap.com. Works every now and then for me but not always. Another domain that did the same was scarabbodyarts.com which was a site a friend was trying to show me.

Yes, it's a redirect at the moment until I get hosting that allows more domains.

EDIT: personally, I think my error has to deal with my internet connection somehow. I've been having some trouble with my internet lately so it might be doing something to block certain domains at times (other sites still work and my internet connection is up when it happens, so I'll have to look for what exactly the problem is).

one thing you can do that i did is go to
Drive c -->WINDOWS-->system32--->Drivers--->etc---->and open file hosts with a notepad. type in the ip address ofyour hosting and the domain next to it and then save, see if that helps it helped me.

probably is not the domain but Firefox... as usual

Otherwise you can try also using a free online proxy to see if is related to your settings, your location or the domain settings.

It's not firefox cause I get the "Page cannot be displayed" page in internet explorer too (this domain issue only happens sometimes, like right now it works for me). I have tried a proxy (HideMyAss) and it worked during the time it wasn't work regularly. I'll have to try that redz next time it happens again.
