What is better? I have a a 4 letter product I want to sell. Of course .com .org and .net are gone. What is the next best choice? .biz or .info any other suggestions. .biz seems to be available. Would I be better using a two or three word phrase and get a .com?

.biz Get it as quickly as possible as this amy also be registered by some registrar itself if you have searched the name on any of the big registrars. You can register this at IDNRS.com and get freezed price, free privacy protection, free domain lock, free signup, free domain management control panel, trouble-free trransfer (which may not be required :) )

It really depends what your selling and where... I hate those type of answers, so I'll elaborate.

Ask yourself, do I know much about .biz? Is it well known in my market (ie with my customers)?

Also, if your selling a service or something information related (internet service/ebook), than a .info domain might seem more credible than .biz

Lastly, to get a dot-com try thinking laterally, describe your product in detail (this should also be done for you adwords campaign) for example, or try to put a letter in front or behind it, like eXXXX or XXXXz.

Ultimately your gut feeling will probably tell you what should go after the .
