Domain names

    Hi,

    I was just wondering, if you have a site for the "global" market, must the domain then be .com.

    I e.g have adult sites and most of the "good" domains are taken for .com, but they are free for other countries e.g co.uk.. But are they as good as .com for SE?

    If you go for .co.uk it will good for UK traffic possibly, if you are looking for international market .net could be your second preference, IMO.

    Domain extension does not have any impact in terms of SEO :)

    Yeah I concur with you on that and also the domain extension can help in getting the specific targeted traffic of a geographical location and nothing else I suppose.
