Domain names

    Hello.
I have a server with a primary domain name and on that same server
    I have also other added www.domain names.com.
Do the search engines frown on this?

As I purchase each domain name and add it to the server, are the search engines looking at each new domain name or seeing it as a sub-domain?

Is it better for SEO if I purchase a separate server account for each www.domain name.com...?
    Thanks for any feedback.

Search engines don't base whether something is a domain or subdomain on whether it's hosted on the same server or even at the same IP address. domain.com is a domain. anything.domain.com is a subdomain. Period. Even www.domain.com is a subdomain. The engines generally treat subdomains as totally separate sites except in the case of very authoritative sites, where subdomains are said to actually inherit some ranking attributes of the parent domain like domain authority, domain trust, etc.

If you have 5-10 domains then there is nothing wrong with hosting them on the same server, even at the exact same IP address. If you have 100 domains it's still ok as long as they are not interlinking. But if you have lots of domains that are interlinking (even if they are relevant) then there is a chance that having them on the same IP might trigger the engines (especially Google) to consider it a link farm and could result in penalties... at the URL, domain, or even the IP level.
