I need help in obtaining a domain name as well as a web host. I do not have computer knowledge. The problem is i have an Apple computer and am not sure what web host will be able to support my mac. I want all other types of computers to be able to see my website as well. Any advise?
You can register domain names at namecheap dot com or at godaddy dot com or at any other good registrar.You can see the past threads here. Web hosting is not dependent on the type of computer you use. Your website will be on the hosting company's server and will be visible to all users on the web. Again there are different hosting companies like hostgator, godaddy, bluehost etc., Suggest you search this forum for any doubts before plunging in.
All the companies i have checked out do not fully support mac computers as far as site building, very limited.
