    Is a domain name with a recent website on the wayback machine with many entries over 4 years and receiving traffic (about 80 uniques daily) more valueable than if it didn't have a previous website. Could this archived stuff be utilised if i wanted to use the domain name for another website with similar content.

    Is a domain name that previously had a website which was archived but still receiving traffic a better buy than say a newly registered domain name or an existing one that was never promoted etc?

    The backlinks, plus the domains reg date and amount of time its been continually been indexed in the Search Engines is what counts.

    Simply being archived in wayback doesnt mean alot on its own without the other factors.

    * agreed^

    Plus that shouldn't be the desiding factor for registering your domain.
