Domain names with the extension as part of the name - brandable?

    Are domain names using the extension as a part of the name brandable? Do any of you run sites with them?

    Why wouldn't they be?

    It just depends on your audience. grannies.knitsessio.ns won't go down as well as hot.te.ch/nology.

    If the geek factor is high then yeah, it can stick very well.

    yeah, that does have geek appeal hot.te.ch/nology
    But what I'm wondering is how well people remember how to type those into the browser.

    Just make sure you rank for the word as a whole as well. If people remember it and want to go back they would have bookmarked it anyway I'd imagine.

    If you have the .com version then you can use it as is. If not then the extension is required.
