    Hi guys,
I have found a very nice domain name with a brand name and a .co.nz extension. I really want to register it but before I do, I want to know that I won't get into troube.

To explain the situation, assume that iPods have just been launched and Apple own ipod.com. What happens if ipod.co.nz is available and I register it? I then sell it on to somebody else on eBay or TDNAM for a profit or I just keep it and either forward it to my own website or to a for sale page.

Can Apple sue me for registering the domain?
Can Apple sue me for trademark infringement?
Can Apple take the domain away from me or stop me from selling it?

Basicall, is it possible that I will get into trouble for doing this??

Yes you can have the domain taken away and possibly suffer other action. If you read the legal documents for the main registrar body, like Icann, domain name commissioner and so forth, you can find out what can and can't be done.
