Domain name

    There came to my attention a domain name with pagerank 4 listed in this sale thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2200823

    As I see, the domain was created just a few days ago and it has very low amount of backlinks, how can a such new domain rank so high? Am I missing something?

    Because I prefer to ask someone else than the seller to be sure that the deal is legit.
    If I come across great computer deals, I'd ask a friend instead of the merchant to make sure that all is legit and I'm getting what I'm paying for.
    In this case, it's just out of curiosity, perhaps techniques I've never heard of before and I may be able to apply them.

    If it's fake, how is that pagerank achieved? I don't think you can cheat google.
