Domain name with WWW or without WWW ?

Which one do you think it's a better marketing strategy to show in google serps (you can have www.domain.com or domain.com , just change the option from your Google Webmasters Account)


www.softgroups.com get more attention then softgroups.com because the eyes tend to read to read what is after www, and the people brain pay more attention ,etc , or softgroups.com get more attention ?! maybe because others websites are without www,etc?!

 

mmm i think it depends upon you if you choose with www then stick with it, use it when you promote your site. . i usually prefer without the www hmmm nothing special i just like it for a change coz many are using domains with www, and by the way my www redirects to my non www site so i have no problem if anyone visits my site using a www prefix..

 

remove the www. that way, the presentation is simpler and the chances of your site to be remembered will get a boost.

 

I agree, its easier to read and promote this way. Just have the www re-direct to the non www url.

 

I think the www looks better. And don't worry about memorization, they dont write down the www, people are not that dumb.

 

Having www will be more formal so most webmaster prefer it. Better use redirect and target which one you prefer so you can focus ranking on just one domain name...

 

I think www is nice actually dont know!!!!!! EVER time I looking for the content so it will be better if use some para with HTML code

 

I like the 'www' part. I always redirect the 'without www' to 'www'... and it's been great.

 

better with www. bcz its every body use and also in IE domain name + CTRL+ Enter. will open the site www.sitename.com. So always www. and .com me will suggest
