Hi, I have a PR7 domain name with approx 193,000 backlinks and was looking at either getting a valuation or even selling it for the right price. Does anyone know where the best place is to get a reliable valuation or the best place to sell a domain name? Many thanks in advance.
I agree with Wokao. Sedo is the best place to sell domain names. You can also look at Flippa, but I personally prefer Sedo. Secondly, I would not waste any money on domain appraisals. They are often based on opinions of the writer and means absolutely nothing in the marketplace. You may get an appraisal of $100,000 on a PR7 domain, but don't be surprised if it never sells at that price. In almost all instances all buyers only laugh at appraisals. Just my 2 cents
Auto-appraisers don't seem very reliable either. I have a very busy site that earns quite a bit per month, and a completely idle site with no visitors and of course no earnings. Both get auto-appraised at $100. They also both get auto-appraised at having the same earnings. I'd imagine most people are interested in the site earnings not the PR.
