Domain name transfer

    Sorry for this noob question.

    If i register a domain name from a web (eg. cheapname.com) and host my website on another web hosting company, is it necessary to transfer my domain name to the web hosting company?

    No. Just change the original nameservers to that which your host gives you.

    no dear, you just have to change your web servers address and names to that which you are going to host now for your website.....
