Domain Name Transfer Time

Can I transfer a domain which is one month old ? Is there any minimum timeframe associated with the transfer process ?

 

You must wait for 60 days to transfer a new domain. After that you can make transfer. Transfer generally takes 5 days

 

I'm in the process of selling my second DN. The first one took about a month to complete. However the domains were not new and I had sedo.com handle it.

 

My average transfer time is also 5 days as snare said above
If you want to sell the name suggest the buyer to push the name to his account
Most registrars have features to do the 'push'

 

7 days for yahoo to transfer out . .. depend on where you are holding the domains

 

You can transfer a new domain to another person without any waiting time period, but you cannot transfer it to another registrar until after 60 days.

Transferring a domain to another person generally takes from 3 to 5 days.

 

if I have a new project in mind and buy a DN with godaddy.
do I have to wait 60 days before transfering the DN to my host (hostmonster) ?

meanwhile I can't do anything with the DN ?!
