Domain name transfer time?

  1. #1
    I am transfering a domain from fabulous.com to godaddy.com. I have already entered authorization codes and security codes. Now it is pending approval. How long does it take to recieve approval email?

    Normally will take 24 hrs, if any more delay contact them by customer support

    It depends really, in my experience it takes around 3 days for transfer process to be completed.

    Agreed - not instant. I've found it to take a few hours to a few days depending on the transfer and transferee.

    Handy hint though - watch out for authorisation emails getting sucked into a black hole because you have privacy turned on. (See my tutorial below for a step-by-step giude to make sure a domain transfers first time from GoDaddy to DH).

    Why transfer to GD?Its better to stick with the previous registrar.And to answer your question,the time it take is depend on both of your registrar,GD and FBL.If anyone one of them,is delay and your transaction will be delayed.The slowest is 10 business day if after that,you should call them up.
