    Hi all,

I'm in the process of creating a gaming site with information on games, flash games to play etc., however I'm stuck at the stage of picking a suitable domain name. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! Something with arcade or games in it would be great. :)

    Cheers,

I'd suggest you use www.nameboy.com ... That's a great tool for picking domain names.

However, they do sometimes suggest domain names that are taken. The best way to check is to hit up godaddy and see if it's available.

At least that's what I do!

Yeah, just come up with a general name you like, put in GoDaddy, and GoDaddy will give you a list of relevant available domains.

I would use something like NicheBot and DP keyword suggestions to first find the phrase you will be targetting, and then try to incorporate that into your domain ;)

    I would suggest :

    1) www.gamesnarcade.com /net/org/biz/info -- all available
    2) www.arcadengames.com /net/ org/biz/info -- all available

A domain name with a KW is a good way to start ranking in the search engines !!

    Hope that helps

Make sure the name will be pleasant not only to your eyes but to search engines too. Numbers in the neutral spots of the name (beginning for example) don't create a problem to engines too

The previous urls that people suggested will help you sort out the first results
