Domain Name Suggestion Tips!........

    Dear All,

    I want to register & host a new domain (SEO Theme), So i need your help regarding this:

    1. Suggest me the criteria of the domain name?
    2. The extension of the domain name. which one is the best and why?
    3. Hosting Server? (site is in PHP)
    4. Other necessary points required, when register & host a new domain.

    For 2, .com is required. It can not be replaced. You can check google, do you see many other TLD appeared there? Definitely not.

    • Age of the domain
    • Exact keyword name
    • Domain names with.com
    • Scope for branding
    • Avoid slangs, number substitutions and technical jargons

    1. Better include the keywords in your domain, it makes people know what your sites is about. But be sure don't make it too long. Include your name in your domain is also a great idea, after several times people visit your site, they will remember your name.
    2. .com or .net extension. If they are not available, try .biz.
    3. Many choices for hosting. Bluehost, Softlayer provide good service according to my experience.

    1. You can have a maximum of 63 characters for your domain name. Many people would suggest keeping your domain short. By having a short domain name, users can easily remember your website and also it is easier for them to type in their browser. However, you should keep your domain name meaningful while keeping it short. It is hard to get a good and short domain name nowadays as most of those name were already taken up by the others.

    It should be not long and visitors should be able remember it easily. Sure, it should be .com
