domain / name server propagation

    Why does it take more time for a name server to propagate than a domain ?

    Actually it takes same time like domain.

    Hmm, are you sure about that. I know you have knowledge in the area, but it always take more time for me, without exception.

    Yes i'm sure. But it depends on your registrar and your nameserver. If your namserver is fast it will get the updated records within 5-30 minitues.

    what do you mean depends on my name server. It is the name server I want to propagate. The name server does not have a name server.
    Someone said that name servers can take up to 36 hours when domains can take up to 24 hours.
