Hi I have post a thread asked "Do url seo". those seo experts suggested me that target keywords if is "book store" should be use the dash "-" , example:http://www.adulu.com/book-store/ I am curious about Domain name. which is best for seo. bookstore.com book-store.com I known bookstore.com easy to spoke on the air but for seo?
bookstore for sure , if possible. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=pizza+hut&meta= http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=pizzahut&meta= look for the bolded searched terms they are the same , so bookstore is as strong as book-store when it comes to seo. But for sure it is far more better for brandability and type-ins. Hmm I am hungry , gotta order a pizza
I do agree to say there were no different. but Branding of course without "-" is much more easy to be popular
in my opinion, - is good for only sitename.com/folder-name/. using - in domain names is not a good idea
it depends if the keyword people type is bookstore or book store. For seo purposes if there is a space then you ought to put in a dash. If there is no space then obviously no space. If your doing a bunch of offline advertising where you'll feature the address with domain.com/bookstore.html (or domain.com/book-store.html) I'd go with the former as its easier to remember. The difference in SEO benefits for the two extensions aren't very high so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Generally though spaces should be dashes in URLs.
Since 2006 (the first quarter of 2006 algo update if i remember) there is now no difference between a keyword combination with "-" or without the "-".
They will both play the same as far as for search engines but for a human the bookstore would be more memorable.
