domain name registering before business name ??

If i register a domain name, and a few months down the track apply for a business name in australia(where i live and will do business),would previously owning a domain before business name registration prevent me from getting it registered?

I was going to register business name first, but thinking about saving money and starting out cheaper than before as well as other complications i don't particularly want to share.

    thanks for any help,

No, it should not make a difference unless if you are registering a domain name which requires a business registration certificate.

In Singapore, to register a .com.sg domain name you need to be a registered business but in the US, the .com domain name only requires a living human being to register.

In most cases, the domain name and business registration are two different beasts and can be done one without the other.
