    Hi,

If i buy a new domain name let say example123.com and i redirect it to my exisiting page let say example.com/123. What is the effect? what metadescription will the bot detect? (example.com/123's meta description? or is it just empty?) will example123.com even get indexed in google?

let say the reason i buy example123.com is due to large search in the keyword "example" and "123".

    Please advise

    Thanks all in advance

the old one still get crawled but then bots will recognize the redirection, so the new one is going to get index.. including the old backlinks will pass through..

If you use 301 redirection, the new page will be crawled with its meta.
The backlinks and PR of the old domain will also be preserved.

Just want to clarify my question--->>if i want to keep the old pages (let say example.com/123) and redirects new domain name (example123.com) to the old pages -- Something like 2 url pointing to a same content page, what meta description will the bot see?

I think both will be seen by meta description.
better to use 301 redirection to point to your new location of site..
