Hi, sorry if there is already a thread related to this but i couldn't find it...

I saw a table a while ago with the values of domain names... does anyone know where it is?

basically i would like to know the (rough estimate) value for domain names such as:

    CVCVC - $?
    VVVVV - $?
    VCCVV - $?

    etc etc

Values of a domain depend on a huge number of variables, there is quite simply, no standard that you can can apply.

If specificly you are asking about LLLLL.com's (five letter .com domains), it really very much depends.

This would be worth $0 - jqxzk.com - It is of absolutely no interest nor will it do any good for anyone.

If it makes up a very easy to pronounce word, which is highly memorable and ideal for a brand name, you might get around $100 for it, if you are lucky, for example - Plolo.com - short, easily recognisable, to recall and remember. However there are a lot of combinations of fully pronounceable LLLLL.com domain names, basically, they are two a penny, finding a buyer for one of these can be hard work. Usually, it'll be an impulse purchase.

Putting set values on domains for us average Joe's is difficult at the moment, since the market overall has taken quite a tumble in recent weeks.

The very best top domains will always be worth good money and it is easier to set a standard to some degree of accuracy for these top names.

Overall though, it's like asking, how long is a piece of string as any domain is only worth what an individual buyer is prepared to pay for it.

    Hope this helps.

As regards domain prices, go and have a look at DNF, you'll find some figures there no doubt - DNForum.com or NamePros.com

    @Magawr.

Thanks, great post! so basically there is no pricing structure (even a rough one) - its down to is theres someone who likes the domain you have they will pay for it... 3,4,10 letters of not?

reason i asked is i have been buying & selling a few domains over the past year and have a few brandable (pronouncable) 5 letter .com domains i wish to sell, but didn't know what they were worth.

Thanks for the info - but if anyone does know where the chart/table i mentioned above is - let me know!

    Dan

Whatever the domain name doesnt matter. price is based on the .extention.
.com is common, starting from 6 $ to 910 $ per year . Check any registrar u will get correct price for all types of domains
