I want to develop my website.

What do you suggest me , may i use sub-domain names ? is it seo ok?

or i better link all the page together

    the only problem is that

    forums.softgroups.com
    templates.softgroups.com
    scripts.softgroups.com

will be easy to remember then softgroups.com/forums,etc....

I remember people saying Google penalises sub domains in SERPS but when I do a quick search there are alot of subdomains.. linking them together will be a good way to make sure all pages get spidered and indexed by the S.E Bots.. although the link juice will not mean too much unless you have the subdomains hosted on separate servers with different IP addresses.

so I say run with sub domains for what you want it will work well.
