    hi guys, i want to build a cottage site, (cottage for rent and for sale listings) whitch of the following domains do you think is better?

    showcottage.com
    cottagerentalsale.com
    torontocottage.com

    depends. if your target is only toronto or you are only offering cottages in toronto on the site, then torontocottage.com is the best. if you will be offering cottages worldwide, a more general domain may suffice.

    I like cottagerentalsale.com

    If someone searches for "cottage rental" or "cottage sale" your domain name has both keyword in it.

    Go buy it before someone else does.

    Yeah, I think cottagerentalsale.com sounds best, but if what jnm says is the case then torontocottage.com would be best and the first one, showcottage.com, don't like it at all. ;)

    seattle.showcottage.com

    My blog expereince would indicate that the above would delivery nicely relevent ads for each subdomain.

    I could be wrong but I don't think that G would pick the individual words out of this: cottagerentalsale.com

    Maybe cottage-rental-sale.com ??

    Personally I don't like cottagerentalsale.com. I'd think like an advertiser, whats your positioning statement? Your single simple message to stick in peoples heads. They're looking for a cottage why? They're rich, they're looking for quality time, they're looking to show off? It should be easy to get to for weekends.
