Domain name of a Trademark

    hai guys,

    ill explain my question using the xyz name

    i registred the xyz.com domain where xyz is a registred trademark in my country.
    so if xyz company file a case to release the domain name, will i should pay panelty and give them the domain name?

    remember it is a .com domain.

    pls advise.

    if you don't do anything with it (i.e., the domain simply points to a blank white page instead of a parked page), I dont think there's much they can do, if anything at all, to force you to hand it over... might be worthwhile to hold on to it at least.

    thanks friends, so it seems no worry and demanding a higher ransom is the best solution it seems :D

    That really might be the worst solution, especially if you registered the domain
    after the trademark existed.

    if you use it for something unrelated and out of the scope of the buisness they do, you should be fine
