Domain name : need help

Hi

i have an idea for a new website, pictures oriented (not porn or such)
i don't wanna tell what it's all about, so let's say it's about pictures of skyscrapers (it's NOT)

the domains skyscraper.com .net .org and skyscrapers.com .net .org .whatever are taken.

so i'm looking for a another longer name that would still be cool.

i thought of

Any idea of a cool name woul be great.
Remember, it's NOT about skyscrapers, so no need to try some names such as tallskyscraper or so, it's about pictures/photos and my keyword.

The best way to do this.. (you'll need to do some research ) is to use a keyword popularity tool like seobook's or overtures.. and then select a domain based on the # of searches monthly.

 

thanks for the suggestion 8everything, but :

- little research on my specific keyword (on overture)
- i already have the theme of the site, which is pictures of my keyword... Say, if my keyword is beer, and many people search cheap beers, it would be a bit strange to have a domain name about cheap beers while the site is only about beer pictures. So i'd like either the name to convey the keyword + pictures feeling, or just a cool name with my keyword in it, such as worldbeer.com, coolbeer.com, whatevermykeyword.com.

Go long tail. If you can't get exact, get something that infers skyscrapers, or architecture.

 

Its hard to say... it can vary depending on what the word is- still not gonna say ?

 

Try GoDaddy when selecting a domain name that is regged they give you many other suggestions or optionals...the popular modified versions......or you may want to try for "skyscrapers" something like eSkyScrapers or iSkyScrapers? If it is photo related try "click_______" or "_______click" add click or clique to it which is a cool word.
