Im looking to buy a domain... it is
    bestkeyword.com

    someone has
    bestkeywording.com

we would both be in the same market and local area. Is this any potential legal problems?

for famous brands/big companies such as google,yahoo,ebay,amazon..etc
there is a legal problem, if some one registered the name googlee or gooogle or yahooo..etc
but for small websites, i do not know maybe it is ok
you should consult a lawyer, or post a question in special forum for lawyers and legal issues .

So I put bestkeywording.com in my browser and no site came up. I did a whois and the name is available. So you do not have a problem.

If you have registered a domain like googlee.com for example then you'll have problems when ever you register a trademark looking domain then you'll have to worry other than that if the company don't have their trademark registered then you can register a domain like it.

Don't see a problem with it.
