Hi all, When choosing a domain name, it is better to have www.keyword+place.co.uk OR www.place+keyword.co.uk. When I check Google adwords to see which order is most commonly searched for, they seem to lump both together. Many thanks to anyone who replies.
keyword in front you will frominent your products, and place in front you will frominent your location.
My next website is for a nursery in bury st edmunds. I suppose what I am asking is are more people likely to key into Google/yahoo "nursery bury st edmunds" OR are more people likely to key "bury st edmunds nursery"??
Problem solved - have now found the "exact match" option in Google adwords - for the nursery scenario "nursery + bury st edmunds" is way better than "bury st edmunds + nursery" although - interestingly, when I checked out hotels + place vs place + hotels the results were the exact opposite! As you can see from my siganture, have now bought a nurseryburystedmunds.co.uk domain.
