Domain name influence

How important is the domain name on your Quality Score? For example, if your domain is debtrecovery.com and your keyword is "debt recovery", does this make much difference to your Quality Score? If so, how much?

Also, what about the age of the domain?

    Thanks,

    Jon

No one knows but Google. My hunch is it's not that big of a factor...if it's a factor at all.

    Doesn't impact it at all.

These are not the factors, content must be relevant, good, detailed and original.

Ive read that age of domain is definitely a factor ...Im no expert though..
    One example - http://www.webconfs.com/age-of-domain-and-serps-article-6.php

Also I believe that keywords in the domain is a definite factor.. for example , a colleague has a site called wwwDOT360-visualDOTcom

Zero SEO has been done on the site and content is not existant as far as Google is concerned..

Have a search for 360 visual on Google... 28 Million other results and its #1 ?
    :)

    This is the AdWords forum...

And this is an old thread but what the heck, let's talk kwywords in the domain. I doubt it has any direct impact on your QS, but, having the keywords in the domain does tend to help CTR, which in turn will help your QS.

Bingo! It's indirect, but CTR does help quality score and consistantly high CTR can lead to less expensive clicks by increasing that score.
