Well this has more to do with how i should set up the email for the domain. I had bought my domain from domainsite.com and they gave me nameservers but i use the name servers that my webhost has given me. In order for me to create a "myname@mysite.com" email, i have to use domainsite's nameservers. Wouldn't this make my site stop working? What should i do to get the email forwarding thing.

Many hosting providers allow you to create domain name-based email. Check
with your host if they do.

If they say they do, then just change the domain name's nameservers to that
of the host. Then create your mailbox and email forwarding with them instead
    of Domainsite's.

    It's one or the other.

Login to your cpanel account. Go to Mail > Forwarders.

Forwarding is no good if you want to send email from that address though.

My question is why use domainsite for your email anyway? Just host your own email on your host, and that way you can use the namesevers from your host as well. :)

Have you already checked with your host for that?

Ok I am not 100% sure I understand your question but I will still try to answer..

When you register a domain it defaults to the registrars NS (name severs) now if you purchased a hosting account you will get your new NS. So you registered your domain and got lets say ns1.123.com and ns2.123.com now your host wants you to switch to ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com. After you make this change your website and email will go down until propagation is complete which could take an hour or up to 72 hours to complete. There is nothing you can do to speed this process up. You will just need to wait it out.

    Hope that helps
