Many domain name related forums have a place where you can sell them as makeshift auctions or fixed price. Or you could toss it on eBay. These are the fastest ways to sell that I know of, but you will make less money.

If you want long term put it on places like Sedo & search for end users.

There is no real best place except selling directly to end-users. You will most likely get the best price from them rather than domainers.

You can sell in Godaddy Auctions or on Sedo.com

there are a few other forums as well as here where you can post your domain names and see if you get some offers.

I have flipped a few domain names using forums and have found it quite profitable.

Do a Google search for the topic, i.e., brownhobo.com, search for "brown hobo" (without the quotes). Look for Adwords ads and contact advertisers. Also contact owners of websites pertaining to topic. Tell them it is available and ask for offers.

    OK STOP!!
there is no best place to sell domains, however, I have uncovered a secret to selling domain names, eBay.
seriously, eBay domain market is fairly untapped, I just finished writing my book about it, DomainAuctionProfit.com although, just yesterday i received a call for a domain name of mine for $3050, so its kind of a combination between weekly sales (finding a platform, for me its ebay) then your private sales, incoming calls or emails, or go out and seek buyers.. but the market is still very strong for domain names, regardless of what anyone says..
If you want a copy of my book, let me know, its a guaranteed weekly revenue stream..

    Good Luck with your decisions,

    Justin
