Hello again. My question: I want to buy a domain name for my blogger blog. At this time .com domains are taken. But there are free domains like .net and .info ... I would choose .info because my website is about money making ways (how to make money online) ... .info domain is usually used for informative sites/blogs. What is difference between .com and .info? Will .info domain search engines index slower or something? What problems can be? What domain name you could recommend to use instead of .com?
.com is the best extension to use, because it is easy to remember and easy to access, your visitors would have to write very less, and they will press control enter just after the domain name to access it which is the common way to access a site now a days, so i will advice you to not go for .info. Put .com on priority because it is very easy to remember.
.COMs are the best, and you should also not use any numbers or dashes in your domain name. Use http://namerip.com you'd like to search for available domain names at the lowest prices.
If you can change minor in your domain keywords , still the best to go with .com domain extension. Is less for blogger that use .info domain name. If you teach how people to make money online and you use .info then it might not encouraging while .info is not a good domain extension to choose to make money . It cause your site lack of trust.
info is ok for few pages site on a subject. If you want your site taken seriously, go for .com domain (even with not so perfect keywords)
Search for the best domain name u can get that is not taken and use .com. And yes again and again, go for a .com. It ranks best than all the rest. That explains why it is hard to get a .com domain name. And search properly because your EMD matters while doing IM.
i must say that .com extension has no comparison to other but if it got taken then i prefer .org extension but it also got taken then i prefer more .net extension but not .info extension
Dot com is 10 times more valuable than dot net, and 15-20 times more than dot org. The rest almost don't count anywhere near.
