Domain name display in browser

I bought a domain name from GoDaddy.com however I'm not sure how to get it to display properly in browser.

By this I mean, GoDaddy has two options, mask, or just forward.

Mask: www.example.com is displayed, but doesn't change, and the content is in an iFrame. So if I go to other parts of the site, example.com is always displayed, not example.com/page.php

Forward: just forwards to194.111.111.111 or whatever, which obviously isn't ideal.

I can't workout how to resolve this, and don't really like the iFrame thing either.

    Any suggestions?

I think you should only forward without masking. How much would that affect you?

Yea but my point is, why is that happening?

How can I just make it like other sites where you have: www.example.com/page.php or www.example.com/contact.php

I have dedicated hosting, and a domain name, but don't see why it won't allow me.
