I wanted to know if a domains extension means something when it comes to search engines.
    Fir instance
With all the conditions duplicated( how many sites link to site A, what is the content of a site A etc. ), which domain will be found better on a search engine? :
    somesite.com
    somesite.eu
    somesite.country_code

One of the biggest questions for me would be - .com vs .net vs .org vs .me

And what if I can get a site keyword-NNN.com vs keywordN.net vs keyword-key.org vs keyword.me

I hope you guys understood what am I asking. Currently I am a little sleepy, so this is tha last post this eve I think :).
    Hoping to get some answers...

well, i think that will be ranked by letters and linked rates, you can try it on the search engine, that's the direct method to solve this matter, just a piece of advice, heheheh

Your first question is sort of interesting. I've never heard of its being an issue & really don't think the domain's extension means anything at all when it comes to ranking. For one thing, it wouldn't be politic to favor one country over another; and I think it is the consensus that Google doesn't have any preference among the non-country extensions like .com, .org, & .edu, for ranking purposes.

Some of the non-country extensions are highly favored by website owners, but the reason is that some, especially .com, are more likely to be typed in than others by people looking for products. For example, someone looking for used cars may very well type in www.usedcars.com, while it isn't likely that many people would type in www.usedcars.me.

On your last question, about whether it makes any difference if other terms, like -NNN, are included in a domain name, in addition to the keyword of interest, I don't think it would make any difference to the search engine for page-ranking purposes. Neither would it have any importance to people doing a search for your keyword, like "dog food." It would make a difference to users typing in www.dogfood.com instead of www.dogfood-NNN.com.
