Domain Name Choice: [BrandName][AnyExtention].com

    Hey,

    I was about to buy a domain but than i thought will it be illegal? Because, if i buy a domain that includes a well-known brand name in it, what happens?

    For instance, [thinkaboutadiamondbrand]diamonds.com is this domain illegal?

    most likely a TM issue - especialy if your site has any relation or is similar to the brand name

    you should search trade mark records before filing an application to register it

    You should be carefull when registering doomains that contains brand names. Check if that name is trade marked, if yes better dont risk.
