Domain name billing info

    Hi I am trying to buy a domain with someone else credit card. On the name field do I write my name or the name of the credit card owner?

    first of all you should have the credit card holder make the payment unless he/she authorize you to use their card.

    As far as buying a domain you should put the domain owner information for the registrant information; regarding the payment you need to put the card holders name and address on the billing detail of the credit card used to make the purchase.

    As tecno stated,you must be very careful about the same.
    Never play and never use incorrect billing info for credit card billing details.
    Not only at the time of domain registrations,but also with every purchase never use incorrect billing details.

    ok i actually will redeem the cardholder with cash, however if i write the cardholder name on the billing form, is there a sepearte form where i fill my name on the domain registration form?

    For a domain name, you can have different contacts for Registrant (Owner of the domain name), Administrative Contact (the contact which handles most communication about the domain name) , technical contact and billing contact. There is no need to have all the contact listed as the same person.

    In your case, you can list all the contacts as you and the billing contact as the card holder.
