i was browsing through when i found this website by godaddy.com

    _https://www.tdnam.com/

when i go there. my google toolbar PR display shows a solid Grey !

as far as i know when google PR shows Grey they have been banned. even PR 0 websites has a solid White on PR display. not Grey.

so does that mean they are banned ? that now they are relying their traffic on godaddy.com ?

It should be noted that grey doesn't always equal banned.

I think it is because you put HTTPS in the URL. I have never seen a PR for HTTPS .. I get this site grey aswell (IE). However when you type http the site redirects to https

I would assume we have 2 different versions of the google toolbar. for me both paypal and tdnam does not show PR and they are both HTTPS. Will see if i can download a new version of the toolbar and maybe this solves the problem. (it looks like a computer related problem)

yfs1 is correct about the grey not meaning banned. sometimes the site is flickering in google (a problem i'm having right now for one of my sites), or the site may not be indexed yet.

BTW i see grey for the URL given also - using FF extension
